Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Expedition Briefing

• Arrive at either SJD airport, where our team will warmly welcome you.
• Transportation to your hotel in La Paz.
• Enjoy a welcome dinner where we’ll dive into the exciting details of the upcoming expedition.

Day 2: Freediving in La Ventana and Ocean Safari

• Immerse yourself in the pristine waters of La Ventana for a day of freediving training, honing your skills in this coastal paradise.
• Embark on an ocean safari, exploring the diverse marine life that calls the Sea of Cortez home.

Day 3: Fun Freediving at Espiritu Santo Island and Transport to Magbay

• Venture to Espiritu Santo Island for a day of fun and adventure, engaging in freediving amidst the playful sea lions and vibrant underwater landscapes.
• In the evening, we’ll transport you to the next destination, Magbay.

Days 4, 5, 6: Ocean Safari in Magbay (Marlin Expedition)

• Dive into the heart of Magbay, renowned for its thrilling striped marlin encounters. Experience the rush of encountering these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
• Over the next three days, our ocean safari will unveil the hidden gems of Magbay, offering unparalleled opportunities for marine encounters.

Day 7: Departure to SJD or LAP

• Bid farewell to the wonders of Baja as we transport you to the airport for your departure.

The Baja Freediving Expedition is perfect for those eager to explore Baja’s premier diving locations within a week. Spanning three distinct sites, this expedition promises a plethora of opportunities to encounter a diverse array of wildlife.

This expedition warmly welcomes all participants, no certification needed. Our itinerary includes a freediving training session in La Ventana on day 2 (if you’re not certified this is a perfect opportunity to peak in the world of freediving, where you will learn some tricks that will help you interact with wildlife in a more tranquil way). The rest of the days will be snorkeling/freediving with wildlife.
